Just thought I’d drop you all a note to let you know I haven’t disappeared. I’ve been drawing the next page and it’s coming along nicely.
I’ve been drawing the house Robert Smalls lived in for much of his life, and as a building that will be shown repeatedly, I’ve wanted to get it right – especially the very first time it appears.
That wasn’t helped by me using a photo for reference that I later realised was incorrectly labelled as being the same house, so having to start again.
It’s a four-panel page. Panel 1 is inked and flatted, the others are heavy pencilled at the moment but shouldn’t take too long to ink and flat.
